Get Involved
Volunteers are the lifeblood of an association, and participation is what makes an association strong. One of the most valuable benefits of your membership in BOMA is the ability to cultivate closer, more cordial personal relationships within the local commercial real estate community.
Committee participation provides the peer interaction and access to information that you need to better serve your tenants and relate to your clients. Participation is open to all members of BOMA Virginia.

Richmond Events & Speakers
The Richmond Events & Speakers Committee arranges speakers for luncheons held in the Richmond area. When possible, events held in Richmond will be duplicated in the Hampton Roads area as well.

The Hampton Events & Speakers Committee arranges speakers for luncheons held in the Hampton Roads area. When possible, events held in Hampton will be duplicated in the Richmond area as well.

Government and Public Affairs
BOMA Virginia’s Government and Public Affairs Committee meets with those who propose or decide public policy, analyzes existing or proposed legislation and/or regulations to determine the impact on BOMA members, and recommends for BOMA Board approval what position the association should take on such matters. This committee educates and informs BOMA members, elected and administrative officials, and the public about issues of significance to commercial real estate, and BOMA’s positions on those issues.

Membership Services
The Membership Services Committee recruits new Principal (Building) and Associate (Vendor) members to the organization, The committee renews existing members to ensure the organization retains the current number of members, and communicates to current and potential members the exclusive benefits available through membership.
