BOMA Virginia Summer Social Event at Colonial Downs 2011

BOMA Virginia gathered at Colonial Downs in July for the summer social event. We reserved a suite where we were able to watch the races from the outdoor balcony, or inside the suite. A great buffet was served out in the main lobby and there were lots of bets placed!

We even did a little betting of our own, with our BOMA BUCKS (our version of Monopoly money!) to score extra raffle tickets for the raffle prizes. Beer and wine was served and people brought spouses and friends/co-workers. Colonial Downs even named a race after our association! Some of our members were even allowed to go down to the winners circle for a photo with the winning horse of the BOMA Virginia race!

This event was so much fun and successful, that we have decided to make it a regular summer event for BOMA Virginia. Please check the calendar for information regarding this event for 2012!
